India is a treasure trove of the most exquisite handicrafts available. Various raw materials have lent themselves to an array of exotic items that are instantly captivating. The amazing diversity in Indian cultures and traditions, ensures variety in the transformation of every single material to a handicraft item.


It was an ancient art, collecting the pepul leaves from the bottom of the streams of our village, while it was lodged under the stones of the stream the chlorophyll was washed out and only the leaf skeleton remains. Care fully the leaf was stored by us for drying and then the picture was drawn by our village (specialists) artists. Then it was framed as a season greeting cards for a happy memory of a special occasion or a special ………….!
